It's just a matter of weeks now until your big day, have you remembered everything? We've put together a wedding planning checklist to make sure you have everything covered in the last month leading up to your wedding...
- Chase any outstanding RSVPs
- Finalise table plan and update the venue on numbers, let them know where anyone with special dietary requirements will be sitting
- Make any final payments with suppliers and confirm details with everyone such as timing, locations, when they can access the venue etc
- Ensure that the registrar knows the order of service, music, readings, and hymns
- Have your hair and make-up trial
- Confirm any hotel bookings for the wedding and honeymoon
- Ensure transportation is booked and confirm timings on the day and who is travelling with wh
- Finalise the music for the day, whether it requires speaking to suppliers or updating playlists on your ipod
- Order any last minute decorations and ensure that the person styling the room knows how you want it to look
- Purchase any remaining bridal accessories
- Ensure all stationery is printed including order of service, place cards and menus
- Send your photographer a list of 'must have' shots
- If you want to reserve rows of seats in your ceremony for family members, talk to your venue about creating reserved signs
- Book any necessary spa treatments and beauty treatments ahead of your day
- If you're having a Toastmaster, go through the order of the day and share any key information they'll need to know
- Assemble favours and wrap gifts for wedding party
- Organise place cards into envelopes with the table names/numbers on e.g. put all the guests sitting on the top table in one envelope, guests sitting at table 2 in another. Try to put them in the order that you want the guests to be sat around the table
- Make sure the groom, father of the bride and best men have their speeches ready
- Have your final dress fittings and any last minute alterations, and arrange pick up
- Accept help from friends and family, they'll be happy to take the load off
- Ensure the men have their suits and accessories, and arrange collection if hiring
- If you're leaving for your honeymoon shortly after the wedding, pack your cases and make sure you have your passports ready
- If you do manage to sleep the night before, set your alarm, in fact, set a couple!
