Marianne and James got married at Highgate House in Northamptonshire in February 2020. Read about their special day below:
We met in 2005 whilst studying at The University of Birmingham. We got together four years later in 2009. In 2011 James proposed whilst on holiday in Marina di Carrara (Tuscany, Italy) he lit many candles in the shape of Marry Me below our balcony and got down on one knee!
We absolutely loved the Baronial Hall and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The Flower Stylist - Ann Evans - Northampton based florist, Alisha Carter Hair, Caterina Clements for our decorations and cake and finally, Christopher James Hall photography.
It is really difficult to select the best bits! The whole day was amazing! The ceremony was exactly as we had imagined it to be! We will never forget the crackling fire and sun shining in through the windows in the Baronial Hall. The wedding breakfast was amazing! There was plenty of food and the staff were attentive. The Mr&Mrs shoe game before our first dance was lots of fun!
The theme was romantic - lots of foliage, dusky pinks and white. My talented sister organised the table decorations, favours and general decor. She has started an Instagram page - follow for ideas and inspiration @RichmondRentalRestyle!
The food was excellent! The chef accommodated all of our requests! The brownie was gooey! Exactly how we wanted it!
The staff and wedding planner, Ava, were excellent. They supported us throughout the whole process and made the day memorable. Raj, Ava, Sarah - thank you!
We planned our wedding in 4 months! Anything is possible!
