Jordan and Steve got married at Highgate House in June 2019. Read about their special day below:
We met in Northampton - I did my university placement year at the place where Steve worked. 2 and half years later, Steve proposed in Villa Borghese Gardens (a heart-shaped park in Rome).
We loved the beautiful house and surrounding gardens, it was perfect for our spring/summer wedding and made for amazing photos. We liked that we had the Coote Suite and bar area to ourselves, and could make use of the garden area (once the rain had passed!)

The whole day was unforgettable. It was wonderful spending the day with our closest friends and family all together - and of course, marrying my best friend.
We chose a navy and burgundy colour scheme, with an 'Italian feel' theme for the Coote suite - white flowers, foliage and candles - to match our table names of place in Rome. We got a lot of inspiration from the wedding fairs, as we were able to see the rooms dressed up before the day.
Amazing - everyone complimented the food! The wedding breakfast was beautiful, and the guests couldn't get enough of the evening buffet.
Ava was so helpful throughout the process, and was always happy to help with all of our questions. We visited Highgate House for wedding fairs, the wedding meeting and the menu tasting prior to the day, and we were always greeted with a smile from the receptionist Magda, and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
Make sure you enjoy the process - I miss spending my spare time searching for inspiration on Pinterest and attending wedding fairs (although I'm not sure Steve would agree!)
